OSSINING, N.Y. -- Frederick Stephen Werner of Verplanck, N.Y., died on June 18 after a long illness. He was 44.
Werner was born to the late Maura Yorke on Oct. 19, 1968 in The Bronx. He graduated from Ossining High School in 1985 and attended Westchester Community College.
He worked at Readers Digest as a computer programmer for most of his life. He was a dedicated Yankee fan.
He is survived by his wife Corina, daughters Desiree and Nicole, and grandson Frederick Werner-Schepis.
Funeral Mass will be at St. Augustine Church, Ossining on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Arrangements under the care of John G. Crawford Funeral Director.
